Biography
He was born in Buffalo, New York in 1897.[1] He moved to Los Angeles County, California with his wife and his sister Catherine. He was a zoo keeper in Los Angeles. He also worked a chief humane officer for the city of Santa Monica/ Animal regulations. He was a residence of the county for 46 years. Herbert Herrmann died November 11, 1974 at 4:55 pm at Baycrest Convalescent Hospital, 3750 Garnet Ave., Torrance, California. He was cremated at Angeles Abbey Crematory, Nov. 14, 1974. He died of arteriosclerotic heart disease [2][3]
