Frederick Herzog, Jr. was born in Hicksville, Nassau County, New York in October 1856.

Birth

October 1856, Hicksville, New York. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] His father was Frederick W. Herzog and his mother is not known. She is possibly the Catherine Herzog (1816-1880) that is buried with the family, however, there is a notation next to her name on the cemetery list that says, "Mrs. Henry d. 22 September 1880 - Lower Melville." [6]

Frederick William of Melville and Katie B. Kreamer of Melville married 22 April 1881 at Melville by Rev. L. C. Lockwood. [8]
