Her daughter is NOT the Elizabeth who married Rosier Levering

Agatha Hess was born in 1604, possibly in Wesel, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

On 21 June 1625, when she was in her early twenties, she married Jacobus Van de Walle. She bore him one known child, a son whom they named Jacob.

On 21 May 1626, when she was in her early twenties she died, possibly from complications of childbirth, in Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Alternate year of death: 1630, when she was in her mid-twenties.

Research Notes

A christening: 21 May 1626; Gemen, Westfalen, Preußen, Germany has been shown on several trees for Elizabeth. Upon searching records, the only christening found was an Elsbet Wahl on 28 Feb 1630, daughter of Johannes Wahl and Agatha Hess in Berleburg.^[1] Besides being a different date than the 21 May 1626 given for Elizabeth Van de Walle, her son Johan Wigard said specifically in his will that she was born in Wesel. It is unlikely that this Elisabeth Van de Walle's parents traveled all the way from Wesel to Berleburg (over 200 km away) just to christen their daughter, when there were many other churches much closer. It is much more likely that her

parents are Jacobus Van de Wall and Cathelyn Gardebout who were from nearby Leiden, Holland where it is believed her family came from.^[2]

Agathe Wahl (Hesse) was born about 1604 in Siegen-Wittgenstein, Arnsberg, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, the daughter of Simon Hesse and Barbara Hess.

She married Johannes Wahl and bore him four known children, two sons and two daughters:
