I believe that Francis Hester was married to Agnes Elizabeth Garland. Her parents could be Peter Garland III and Anne Philip (Phillips). Agnes was born around 1659 and died 19 Nov 1739 in Hanover, Virginia. Both parents were born in England and they married in England. I also found references in Family Search listing Thomas Hester as the son of Stephen Hester (1680-1739) and Ann Minor. So, at this point, I'm not sure who he belongs to.

The entries under Francis Hester mention a second son by the name of Thomas; however, with a birth date of 1715, Elizabeth Garland could not be his mother since she died around 1706. Did Francis marry again? If so, Thomas would be a child of that marriage. If not, then, in my opinion, Thomas Hester belongs to someone else. Does anyone have any additional information on this that they would be willing to share?
