Biography

Violet was born in 1903 in Byker, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
In 1911 she lived with her family in Perth, Scotland[1]
She worked in Pullars of Perth, with her sister Dora. Violet married in 1928. Violet Passed away in 2003 less then three weeks before her 100th birthday.[2]

Granny Violet, as we called her, was a wonderful woman. She always had a twinkle in her eye and liked to help all of her elderly neighbours. She lived unassisted until she was 97. Everyone loved her. She was generous and caring. I still miss her.
