Sally Hewitt was born about 1773 - perhaps in New Hampshire.
Amos Eastman and Sally Hewitt were married in Bristol, Addison County, Vermont 15 September 1793. As Town Clerk, Amos Eastman recorded his own marriage. (Amos served as Town Clerk from 1792-1795. And Representative to the General Assembly in 1807 and 1809.) The couple had six children: Zaida Diana, Cynthia Hewitt, Phebe Parks, Laury Clymenas, Reverend George Clinton Van Vechten, and Monima S Eastman.
Sally Hewitt Eastman died in Bristol, Addison County, Vermont 31 August 1820 at 47 years of age. She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
