Anne was the daughter of Sir Henry Heydon and Anne Boleyn.[1]
It is stated[2] that Anne Heydon married William Gurney shortly after the 28 May 1484. After the death of William Gurney she subsequently marred Sir Lionel Dymocke of Maring on the Hill, Lincolnshire.[1]
Anne was noted in the will of her father, Sir Henry Heydon, the will made on 20 Feb 1503/1504.[3] She was recorded as Anne Gurnay.
In the will of her mother, also called Anne[4], in 1509/1510, the Testatrix made a bequest to her daughter Anne Dymoke; and a bequest to her niece [presumably granddaughter] Fraunceys Gurney.
In her will made on 29 Mar 1520 and proved on 08 May 1521[5] she was recorded as "Dame Anne Dymoke of Boston widowe". Her will was to be buried in the church of St Michael, Boston, Lincolnshire.
She made bequests to her sons Antony Gurno [Gurney] and Thomas Gurno [Gurney], and her daughters Frunces and [Amy] ‘Sybsaye’. She noted her grandson John Sybsaye.
She willed that her house in Hornecaster remain in the hands of her Executors and noted that she was bound by the will of Sir Lyon [Lionel] Dynmoke.
Her Executors were Anthony Gurnon her son, John Robynson esq. of Boston, and Sir John Kempe priest, and the Supervisor was Sir John Hidon [Heydon], Knight, her brother.
