Thomas Harold Hicks was born on 18 Jan 1911 at 37 Bounces Road, Edmonton, Middlesex, England. He was the son of Benjamin Hicks and Alice Emily Wilson.[1]
In the 1911 census Thomas was age 0 living at Edmonton, Middlesex with his father Benjamin Hicks (45), mother Alice Hicks (38), brothers Ernest Hicks (19), William Hicks (17), sisters Elizabeth Hicks (14), Edith Hicks (13).[2]
Thomas served in the Army for 27 from 1929 and throughout World War II. After discharge from the Army Thomas' occupation was Engineer's Die-Caster Injection Moulder.
Thomas married Irene Westley (nee. Hopping) in 1968 at Enfield, Middlesex, although they had been together since the 1940s.[3] They had two children: Jean Hicks (b. 1949), Brenda Rowena Hicks (1959-1959).
Thomas died in 1969 at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield, London, England.[4] He was buried at St. James Church, Enfield.[5]
