Biography

Althea (Hicks) Kelton was born on 18 Feb 1724 in Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay, daughter of Ephraim Hix (1687 - 1765) and Sarah (Kingsley) Hix (1690 - 1727).

Her siblings were:

Althea (22) married Enoch Kelton (19) (1726 - ~1812) on 21 Mar 1746 in Rehoboth. Their children were:

4. George Kelton (1768 - 1814).

There was an Alethea Hix, daughter of Ephraim Hix and Sarah, born 18 Feb 1723/4 in Rehoboth.^[1] This appears to be the only likely choice.

She married 23 Dec 1746 Enoch Kelton, probably in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Children (listed below) born in Rehoboth.

At some point after their children were born, they removed to Warwick, Massachusetts, where Enoch died 31 Mar 1812.

The History of Warwick indicates that she was confined to bed for some number of years before her passing.^[2]
