The Elizabeth Bixler of the 1860 census is consistent with other known details of the Elizabeth Bixler of this WikiTree profiel including birth location, age, previously living in Washington County, Indiana, and being widowed (her husband died in 1853). However, in 1860 she was living in Pierce Township rather than Jackson Township. The 3 land patents that her husband were issued in 1843 were in Jackson Township, and in 1850 Elizabeth & Christian were living in Jackson Township. With that said, it is obviously possible that between 1850 & 1860, those lands were sold and she moved to Pierce Township, which abutted Jackson Township.
Other children - it appears that Elizabeth and Christian Bixler had up to 15 children, and that the 4 listed in the 1850 federal census[3] were some of their youngest. The challenge is that the older children, which are all listed in Elizabeth FamilySearch profile, don't appear to have any primary sources that directly link them to their parents.
