Rachel, daughter of Thomas and Rachel Lincoln, was born at Hingham, MA on November 8, 1696. She married Benjamin Hopkins at Harwich, MA on February 13, 1717/18. Benjamin died before March 22, 1745/46, the date of intentions of Rachel's second marriage to Elisha Higgins.
She married second Elisha Higgins, son of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Rogers) Higgins, as his third wife on April 24, 1746 at Harwich, MA. Elisha died between September 19, 1749 (the date of his will) and August 7, 1750 (the date will proved).
She married third Theophilus Mayo, son of Thomas and Barbara (Knowles) Mayo, as his second wife in 1751 (date of intentions published in Eastham July 20, 1751).
There is no record of Rachel's death but she was not living on June 15, 1758, the date of her husband's (Theophilus Mayo) will.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Rachel by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Rachel:
Higgins-1378 and Lincoln-573 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouses, Lincoln was her maiden name, she married a Hopkins, then a Higgins.
I think Rachel's middle name, which is undocumented, should be removed. It was her mother's maiden name. (Edited to add:) The sources cited when "Holmes" was added as a middle name were a Findagrave memorial, and "History of Hingham", Vol. 3:6, neither of which give her a middle name. Should be removed.
