Biography

Lavinia was born on 8 October 1856 in Springfield, Western Australia.[1][2]

She married William Proctor Scott in 1881 at Picton.[3]

The death occurred yesterday evening at 10 o'clock of Mrs W. P. Scott, of "Roselands," Capel. The remains will be interred in the Capel Cemetery to-morrow (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. The deceased was 59 years of age. The deceased's husband survives her. The children are Eugene H. W. Scott (Elgin) ; Private Douglas Proctor Scott (Black-boy Hill) ; Godfrey L. Scott (Stra-tham) ; Wesley P. Scott (Stratham), Private Percival J. Scott (Blackboy Hill) Miss Lavinia J. Scott (Rose lands), Reuben G. Scott (Roselands); Roy S. Scott (Roselands), and Staf-ford Scott (Roselands).[4]
