Biography
John was born in 1887. John Higgins ... He passed away in 1961 after a heart attack [1]
As of 1917 he was a 30 year old Meat buyer at Bazley Markets in Chicago with a wife and one child and lived at 7638 S Peoria Chicago, IL. He claimed an exemption from the draft. [2]
John retired from Bazley and Junedale Markets Co. on January 3, 1956 where he was a beef buyer for 40 years. He was president of the 18th Ward Regular Democratic organization and a charter member of the Hamburg club. The article also confirmed his wedding day to Mary, on the 11th of November, 41 years prior. [3]
He was also a member of the Auburn Park Council, Knights of Columbus, and Little Flower Holy Name society. [4]
