- Birth date may be certain, it's from a note Grammy had.
- Birth and death from Carrie (Higgins) Bible. Died Apr. 17- 35, aged73 yrs. 1mo-& 14 days.
- Married Bessie Scott of Murchyville on Dec. 28, 1909. Bessie was from Upper Meaghers Grant, father and mother were George and Martha Scott.
- In Grammy's notes she writes Stewart had no kids.(Dana Burtt).
- Also in Carries bible she names her brother as "George W. Stuart"
