Carolina Matilda Higgins was born in 1794, daughter of Moses Higgins (1749–>1826) and Jane Jeter (1757–1838).

Carolina (29) married Aaron Masterson (40) (born about February 28, 1784 in Montgomery, Kentucky, United States; son of John Masterson and Katurah Catherine (Hathaway) Masterson) on October 7, 1824 in Montgomery, Kentucky.

Carolina died on December 9, 1841, aged 46.
