Biography
Mereana was born in 1869. She was the daughter of Aporo Hikitapua (1840 - 1877) and Merengawaka Pokai.
She married Frank Harrison in 1891. They went on to have 7 children.
Sadly her husband was killed in a farming accident in 1916.
Mereana married, secondly, Edward Kershaw in 1919.
They had one son.
She passed away in 1949.
