Hello Molly,

I hope you're enjoying WikiTree.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree. Always look for Duplicates before adding a profile.

Feel free to check out How To Use WikiTree.

Our Help Index covers topics you may have questions about.

Our G2G Forum is where many of our generous members help each other out.

Visit our most recent "Weekend Chat". Say hello, introduce yourself, and see what other members are up to! http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/149820/weekend-chat-all-members-are-invited-22-may-2015

Of course, I'm here to help in any way I’m able.

Hi Molly,

Thanks for letting us know you like to become a WikiTree member and volunteer. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent research and collaboration tool providing opportunity to expand your family tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree. Once you entered your family members it is exciting to see other people finding your family profiles, asking questions, and expanding it.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Great to have you on board, good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree.

Hi, Molly,

If you're just wanting to find out more about your family tree, you don't need to Volunteer. You will find the People Search under 'Find' in the menus, upper right of this page. You can also ask questions in the G2G forum.

If you meant to Volunteer to help grow this wonderful collaborative Tree, please leave a note to that effect. We would be excited to have you!

I'm searching for my mother's family namesake. I was named after one of her relatives but that is all I know. My late grandmother was obsessed with where we came from and my aunt turned me on to it. Genealogy is fascinating to me.
