Salop, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom; G.C.B. and G.C.H. ; Knight of the Foreign Orders of the Tower and Sword of Portugal, Maria Theresa of Austria, and St George of Russia; P.C., General and Commander of the Forces, Colonel of the Royal Horse Guards, Governor of Plymouth, a Commissioner of the Royal Military College, and of the Royal Military Asylum, and D.C.L.

Military Career - Rowland Hill was one of Wellington’s commanders at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, and the Peninsular War. [1]
