The way that genealogy databases are structured, the standard method of indicating locations is County,State,Country.
Because the County field is already established, it is not necessary to actually type in the word county, and in fact, to do so creates an entirely new location, which does not link properly to all other entries in the field.
This is a major problem, as it necessitates the editing of superfluous entries, and requires extensive extra labor by the database administrators.
Not only am I a professional database administrator, but I am an experienced genealogy database administrator.
I sent you a private message as well. I'm the great-great granddaughter of Ellen E. Parker (parker-808) and I can't add her to my tree because I'm not on your trusted list. Thank you!
Hi Margaret, I am glad to see that you are active. I am on here all the time.
How are you related to Berniece Havard Centanne, please? Her husband is a first cousin of my father-in-law. My husband met him more than once. We have family pictures to share :). I am still putting a lot of his family on here, as I only joined a month ago.

At FamilySearch bring up the profile of Sarah Lula Clark (maiden name); PID: LWF6-NDJ
She married Cornelius Havard, personal id = M5Z5-C69
Is this the family you are researching? I am descended from the Clark's (among others) and haven't done any research on the Havard line. Sorry that I am just now getting around to replying.
That's just wonderful! Forgive me that I am just learning the line. Let me know what I can do to help. If you know who belongs to who, then that is a great relief! Let me know what you need me to do. There is no rush.
Hi, Margaret, I saw that you were a part of the Givens Family Reunion that started with Robert Givens and Sarah Stewart. My gggrandfather was David Givens (1831-1902) whose parents were David Given(no s) and Arabella Steuart. That info came from my great aunt who also said David Given came from MA. There is a marriage license or certificate for him and Arabella in Charleston, SC in 1798. His only son that I know of, David, who was a Confederate soldier is buried here in Colleton County, SC. After that, I have hit a brick wall with the Given/Givens line. I was wondering if you and I are connected somehow seeing that your ancestors were a Givens and a Stewart. It's worth a shot at least!

It is never my intention to offend anyone.
I'm just trying to keep everything consistent.
