Biography
Andrew Hilliyer of Simsbury, died 22 January 1697/8. An Inventory of £192-16-10 was taken 25 Jan 1697/8. His will was dated 16 February 1692/3, in which he names his only child, daughter Hannah, as sole heir and executor. Hannah was in her 17th year at the time. A codicil allows for the contingency should Hannah die without issue -- first to James Hillyer, son of his brother James Hillyer, should James not reach age 22, then to his brother Nathaniel Hillyer, or next two of my sister Crowfoot's sons Daniel and David Crowfoot.[1]
