Biography
Edgar was born on 6 September 1782 in Lincoln County, Maine, in that part which would be incorporated as Starks in 1795. He was the son of Benjamin Hilton (1740-1802) and Susanna (Harnden) Hilton (1744-1820).[1]
Edger married Betsy on 13 August 1808 in Anson, Somerset, Maine, United States.[2]
Edgar died on 3 August 1849 and was buried in 1849 in Anson, Starks, Somerset, Maine, United States.[3] He is buried in the Hilton Cemetery in Starks, Somerset County, Maine.[4]
