Alice is named in her husband's will, dated 14 February 1685. Her family name is unknown.[4] Only six of their children reached adulthood,[5] and nine (9) of their grandchildren were orphaned by 1679.[6]

Note that George Walton and Alice became Quakers -- after one of their children [toddler] drowned in a well on 05 May 1657, (Baker, 2007, p. 44) -- whereas the Hiltons followed the Church of England. (see William Hilton's profile Hilton-18).
