Freeman was born in 1870, the 4th child (& 4th son) son of Jacob Himmelman and Mary-Ann Zinck. He passed away in 1954. He became a ship's captain, then later owned a very successful lumber and supplies business on Lower King St. in the town of Bridgewater.[1]
