Ida Mae and her husband are listed in the birth records of their children, Luther Curtis.[1] Sarah Margaret[2]
Per the 1900 census, Ida was born in West Virginia in September 1868. It also indicates that her parents were born in West Virginia. She and Hinkle were married around 1885. At the time, there were seven children living with them, and a niece named Mamie Hall.[3]
Her parents were possibly William and Margaret High, based on a daughter named Ida M in their household in 1870 and 1880 census records. Ida has a birth of 1868 in those records.[4][5]
