Mrs. Blythe was born December 2, 1858, at Ripley, Tippah Co., MS. She joined the Methodist Church when she was fifteen. H.P. Blythe who she married in 1874, died several years ago.
She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Icy Enochs and Mrs. Mayme Crosby of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Mattie Ayers of Cushing, Okla; a son, J.H. Blythe of Howe; 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
