Biography

Stephen Heins was born June 26, 1819 and baptized August 18, 1819 at Zion Lutheran Church, Cripple Creek, Wythe County, Virginia. He was the son of Frederick and Magdalena Heins.^[1] He probably died before his father wrote his will in 1852, since he was not named or referred to in that document^[2] and also was not named among the heirs of his father when they sold land to Michael Spraker in September, 1852. ^[3]

Residence

1836 - 1839 Wythe County, Virginia, district of Thomas Sanders. His father was taxed for 2 white males over 16 (Frederick & Stephen) & horses. ^{[4][5] [6] [7]}
