Biography

Martha Hitchcock was born in 1752 in the English colony of North Carolina. Martha Hitchcock married Jeremiah Crowder, b: 1752 in Dinwiddie, Virginia, in 1775 in Mecklenburg County, Commonwealth of Virginia. They had at least one daughter:

1. Martha "Patsy" Crowder b: 1770 in Halifax County, North Carolina.

Jeremiah Crowder died in January 1795 in Guilford County, North Carolina, USA. He named his children and beloved wife, "Marthy," in his will. She survived his passing. Martha (Hitchcock) Crowder passed away on December 31, 1795 in Guilford County, North Carolina, USA. ^[1]
