From The Genealogy of the Hithcock Family:

Benjamin 4 Hitchcock (Nathaniel*, Nathaniel 2 , Matthias 1 ) son of Nathaniel and Rebecca (Morris) Hitchcock, was born in East Haven, Conn., Aug. 22, 1715.
He married 1st, Feb. 7, 1750, in Woodbury, Conn., Elizabeth Averett, who died Feb. 9, 1752.
He married 2d, Jan. 31, 1754, Abigail Olds Ward.
He died Sept. 24, 1800, ae. 85, " disease sore legs translated to eyes and nasal glands."

Children: (Order of two uncertain.)

  1. Daniel , b. (?) ; d. Oct. 28, 1755.
  2. Elizabeth, b. (?) ; d. Jan. 2(5, 1759.
  3. Samuel, b. Dec. 24, 1754: d. Oct. 28, 1755.
  4. Abigail, b. Nov. 27. 1756.
  5. Lucy, b. April 30, 1759.
  6. Benjamin, b. Oct. 11, 1760; m. Mary Johnson.
