Obituary
Mrs. Clara B. Bradley, 64, wife of William G. Bradley passed away at her home in Bucks Bridge Wednesday morning. She had been ill less than a week with pneumonia.
Mrs. Bradley was born Nov 25, 1871 in Chrysler, Ontario, Canada, daughter of John and Charlotte Baker Hitsman, and came with her parents to Waddington when she was eighteen years old.
On Oct 20, 189 she was married to William G. Bradley at Waddington by the Rev William Rist. The couple lived in Waddington for four years and then moved to Bucks Bridge where they have since resided.
Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Bucks Bridge M. E. church.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Walter R., of Bucks Bridge, Kenneth, of Canton; and two daughters, Mrs. Howard Thompson, of Canton, and Mrs. Bernice Toomey, of Pyrites; ten grandchildren; one brother, John Hitsman, of Burbank, N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Wright, of Fulton, Mrs. Laura Bellinger, Mrs. Fred Joyce, Mrs. Allen Hough, all of Madrid, Mrs. Jane Rupert, of Norfolk and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Buck's Bridge M. E. church Friday after at 2 o'clock. Rev Lawrence Heatherington officiating and interment was in the Bucks Bridge Cemetery.[2]
