"2002 October 2 - Wednesday - James Hinkle received from cousin Evelyn "Evie" Jerlene (Hinken) Gerhart a copy of a photo of Dudley Hix which was taken at Simpson's Studio, Climax Springs,Missouri; on the back of the photo is written Dud Hix. Evie's mother, Zelma Mae (Murphy) Hinken passed the photo to her which had been passed on from Evie's grandmother, Edna Parlee (Osbron) Murphy and to her from Rebecca Jane (Hix) Osborn."
