Margaret Rogers appears at age 73 in the 1860 US Census in Loudon County, Virginia, with her husband Sanford-75, their son Cuthbert-30, their daughter Jane Nutt-50, and 2 grandchildren, Catherine Nutt-25, and Whitfield Nutt-20.[5]
Margaret Hixson Rogers died April 27, 1864 in Mt. Pleasant, Loudoun Virginia, at the age of 77, and was buried in the Sharon Cemetery in Middleburg, Loudoun County, Virginia, USA.[2] [6]
