Henry Alfred was born about 1831-1833 at Tothil Fields[1], Westminster, Middlesex, England[2] the son of Henry Hobbs[3].

Henry Alfred Hobbs married Emily Jane Belchambers on the 12th June 1865 at St. Mary, Lambeth, Surrey, England. Henry Alfred Hobbs, bachelor, plasterer of Berkley Street, son of Henry Hobbs (carpenter) and Emily Jane Belchambers, spinster of Berkley Street, daughter of James Belchambers (Boiler maker). Winessed by J. Gunter & Ann Miles[3][4].
