Caroline G Hobbs was born in ca 1841 in Virginia.[1] She was the daughter of Henry Benjamin Hobbs and Elizabeth Jackson. At age 9, she was in her parent's home in Brunswick, Virginia, along with her siblings, Susan, Ann, Mary, Henrietta, Martha, and Richard[1] She was still at home with her parent's in June of 1880, at age 35.[2]
She married W J Barlow in 1880, in Virginia. They had one child with none living by 1910.[3]
In 1910, at age 66 she was widowed, and living with her Brother, Richard and family, in Powellton, Brunswick County, Virginia[3] She was still in her brother's home in Powellton, in 1920.[5]
