Some prefer to call her Anna, or Anna Barbara, but the majority of sources call her Barbara; the record has been returned to Barbara.

8921, Barbara Hochstetler, 2nd generation in the family of Jacob Hochstetler, 1, Hamburg, Pa., at death, m. Christian Stutzman who d. between Sept. 5, 1770, the date of his will, and Nov. 17, 1770, the date of its filing. Her death likely occurred shortly before 1787, when her husband's farm was sold without showing she had any claim on it. Christian Stutzman appears on the assessment lists of Bern township, from 1753 to 1771, then the widow Barbara appears and continues to 1782; then the son Christian appears and continues to 1787 when he sold the land.
