Biography

Thomas was born on November 21 1915.

He was the son of Thomas Hodge and Ellen Mays. [1]

Thomas Elliot Mays HODGE enlisted with the Royal Australian Air Force, in Sydney, on the 9th of December 1940. He was a Leading Aircraftsman posted to the 4th Elementary Flying Training School at Mascot.

He was killed in a training accident on April the 5th 1941 when the Tiger Moth he was in ran head-first into another aircraft.

His remains were cremated at the Eastern Sydney Crematorium and his WW2 service is commemorated at the NEW SOUTH WALES CREMATION MEMORIAL, SYDNEY, Panel 5.
