Biography
Maude H. Conner
CONNER Maude H. Conner, 99 of Callahan, passed away on 11/18/06 at Shands Medical Center, Jacksonville. Born in 1907 to the late Horace L. Hodges & Daisy Owens Hodges. Mrs. Conner was a life-long Callahan resident. She was also predeceased by her husband Albert B. Conner, sister Lois Stratton, brother Kermit Hodges, and nephew Mike Stratton.
Survivors include a sister Bernice Foster of Athens, Ga. a nephew Harry (Mary) Stratton of Callahan, 3 nieces Mary Stratton of Jacksonville, Betty (Hubert) Bennett of Jacksonville, and Sherry Baker of Athens, Ga. and a great-niece Karen (Craig) Caudill of Hilliard, and numerous other great nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Tues. 11/21/06 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Callahan Funeral Home with Funeral Services also in the Chapel on Wed. 11/22/06 @ 11:00a.m. with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville.
