Mrs. Proudfoot, whose husband, ,Frederick, an attorney, died in 1934, formerly edited the Child Garden Magazine and Kindergarten Magazine.
"Among her better known books were "A Mother's Ideals" and "Child Christ Tales," written around the turn of the century. In 1913, she was a delegate to the women's peace conference at the Hague, and after World War I she was active with Austrian relief work."
