Source: S64 Text: Newspaper Text: Caroline Blank obituary Text: The Daily Sentinel-Tribune Text: Bowling Green, Ohio Text: 13 February 1952 Text: Caroline Blank Called By Death CONT CONT WESTON-- Mrs. Caroline Blank, 90, passed away Tuesday evening at six o’clock at her home in Weston, after being bedfast since November 29th with infirmities of age. CONT CONT The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Miley, she was born Sept. 12, 1861, at the farm home west of Weston. She was 90 years old and 5 months old at the time of death and had spent her entire life in the Weston area with the exception of 17 years in Ashley, Michigan. CONT CONT In 1881, she was united in marriage to Henry Businger and he died in 1916. Her marriage to Herman Hofer occurred in 1919 and he preceded her to the grave in 1923. She was married to Philip Blank in 1930 and seven years later his death occurred. CONT CONT Mrs. Blank was a member of the Weston Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aid Society. She was always a very active and earnest worker and enjoyed taking part in world affairs until the time of her death. She was very sociable, a kind of neighbor and regular church attendant. CONT CONT Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clara Koch, Weston; Mrs. J. R. (Mable) McBeth, Cincinnati; Mrs. Edith Reist, Saginaw, Michigan; two sons, William Businger, Irons, Michigan; Harold Businger, Stony Ridge; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ballmer, Waldon, Michigan; Mrs. Elephena Businger, Weston; Mrs. Sarah Ash, Weston; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. CONT CONT The body is a the Loomis Funeral Home where services will be held Friday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. F. A. Whetstone, of Custar, will officiate and interment will be in the Weston cemetery.
