On 11 Dec 1868 in Collin Co, TX, he md Malinda Kathryn Bounds (Feb, 1847 Washington Co, AR - 24 June 1930, Mangum, Greer Co, OK) dau of James and Frances Emily (Armstrong) Bounds. They lived and farmed in Cooke Co, TX, and Greer Co, OK.
