Johannes Hoff was baptized 23 May 1680. He was recorded as a son of Dirck Poulussen (who later assumed the surname Hoff) and Eechtje Teunis. Witnesses were Teunus Janses Coevers, Jannetjen Teunis, and Jannetjen Klaes Van Leenderaloot.[1]
No surname was specified for Johannes, but Dirckse (or similar, there are possible variant spellings) would have been the patranymic surname.
Additional information has not been located. Johannes is thought to have died young.
Note: The baptism entry is written for both Johanes and Wilhelmus sons of Dirk Pauliz and Aagje or Echtje Tunis Coevers of Jam (Jamaica) sponsors Tunis Jan Covers, Arend Frederickz, Janetie Tunis, Janetie Clas V Loendersloot. [2]
