Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree - if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the Help section or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Our community is working together to build a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile for every person.
Our help pages, top right, have all sorts of useful information, and you can always ask questions on our G2G Forum
(http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/).
Our Honor Code (http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code) is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree.
If you'd like to help us by adding your family branches or help to grow the tree in some other way, please select the volunteer button and leave a statement, here on your profile, informing us of your interest in contributing to our project. I sincerely hope you'll join us!
Happy researching,
Don
