Biography

Its very possible that John was the John Hogan (20) who arrived in Australia with his 2 brothers ,Malachi(26) and William (22), and father Martin (74), all convicted of manslaughter, and given life sentences.They all arrived on the "Captain Cook"(3) from Ireland on 13th November 1836.Their native place was Tipperary, and all but Martin could read and write.
