Biography
John was born in Alabama in 1844 to Daniel and Sarah/Sallie Motley Hogan. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1850 Census[1] and the 1860 Census[2] in Autauga, Alabama. On October 4, 1865 he married Sidney Spigener.[3] The couple are listed together on the 1870 Census[4] the 1880 Census[5] and the 1900 Census.[6] His wife passed away in 1921 and he passed away in November of 1933.[7]
