Grace passed away on 11/15/1881 in Seymour New Haven County Connecticut, USA. She is buried at Great Hill Cemetery. Seymour New Haven County Connecticut, USA.[8][9][10][11][12]
The Will of Grace Chatfield:
In the name of God, Amen
I, Grace Chatfield of the Town of Oxford, Co. of New Haven, State of CT, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit;
First: I order and direct that all my just debts and Funeral Expenses be paid by my executor hereinafter named.
Second: I give unto my son John H. Chatfield one goose Feather Bed to be his own forever.
Third: I give unto my dau. Caroline Lum, Wife of William Lum, all the rest and residue of my Estate, both real and personal of which I may die possessed to be her own forever and I hereby revoke all previous wills.
Fourth: I hereby constitute and appoint Caroline Lum the executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal.
Dated at Oxford this 4th day of Jun AD 1880.
