Biography
They farmed on the east half of lot 9, concession 14, Walpole Township, Haldimand County, Ontario. In later years, they turned the farm over to their son, but built a small house on the property and continued to live there.
DIED - HOLBROOK - In Walpole Township, on Friday, Dec. 18, 1941, Nancy Jane Holbrook, beloved wife of the late John Nelson Howard, age 76 years. Funeral will take place from her late home at 12:30 o'clock, Monday, December 22, 1941, when remains will be conveyed to Springvale United Church for service at 2 p.m., E.S.T., Interment Greenwood Cemetery Springvale.
