Biography
Robert Holden was born on 15 Sep 1896, and was christened on 14 Oct 1896 at St Paul's Church in Burnley, Lancashire. He was the son of Robert and Martha Ann Holden. His father's occupation was recorded as Fireman at the Gas works, and the family's address as 22 Emmett Street. [1]
Robert married Ethel Cafferey in 1920, in a registrar-attended ceremony in Old Fylde district. [2]
In 1939 they were living at 11 Pleasant S, Lytham St Anne's. [3]
