Research Note
There is a James Green, age 3, listed on the 1880 Census for this family. This cannot be the James Madison Green shown in list of children. All information for James Madison Green shows he was born in 1881 not 1877. Although age was fast and loose for women in those days it is unlikely that he would have made himself 4 years younger starting with the 1900 census. Therefore it is likely that the James Green listed in 1880 died shortly before the birth of James Madison Green in 1881.
Death
She died between 1884 and 1900 probably in Wills Point, Van Zandt, Texas.
(Note: Her youngest son was born in 1884 but was living with his sister in 1900 even though he was only 16; therefore, his parents were probably already dead).
