Biography

Elizabeth (Holden) Maskell was born in Essex, England.

Elizabeth Holden was born about 1810. She was the daughter of Thomas Holden and Sarah Copsey. Elizabeth was baptised on 8th April 1810 at All Saints in Brightlingsea, Essex, England. ^[1]

Research Note

Elizabeth is not the child of Isaac Holden and Mary King. See baptism source. She IS the sister of Isaac Howard Holden, however. Clearing further Ancestry.com references as person needs re-researched. Removed Isaac Holden and Mary King as parents. Replaced father with Holden-4177 to keep siblings together.

There are two Elizabeth Holdens that married in Brightlingsea between 1820-1838. One was a widow. Cannot yet confirm which spouse is correct without checking census records etc.
