Biography

Charles Holder's Moravian memoir mentions another son besides John, but does not name him. Johanna's memoir also mentions "five children of whom three are still alive", consistent with John, Christine, and Anna Rebecca having survived to adulthood. We believe that the missing son is this Charles Holder, who is buried in Salem Moravian God's Acre[1] [2]. Some family records refer to him as Carl rather than Charles, but his grave marker says Charles.
