Biography
Records of the Moravians in North Carolina[1]. 1:361, Nov. 9, 1767. Yesterday Andreas Volz, Joseph Holder, Stauber, and their families, arrived from Pennsylvania.
Joseph was not a member of the Moravian church, but lived close to the Moravian community in Bethabara NC. He is buried in Dobbs Parish, the "Strangers Graveyard", which was used for burials of non-Moravians[2].
